Healthy Diet for You

A healthy diet is one of the most important things to strive for. It is not easy because you have so many temptations around you but if you train to eat well and make it a habit you reap the benefits.
A healthy diet consists of:
Drinking lots of water – drink lots of clean water daily is one of the best ways to take care of your body. Water helps cleanse your body in eliminating waste and toxins. Aim for 1 1 / 2 to 2 liters daily.
Eating brown, not white – all the time you can choose wholemeal bread and pasta. Brown rice is much better for your health and the environment than white rice.
Avoiding too much salt – too much salt is bad for you and can cause many problems such as hypertension and heart disease. Your body needs some salt, but you already get this even if you didn’t add any salt to your food because there are so many foods contain hidden salt.
Avoiding too much sugar – too much sugar is bad for you and can lead to health problems. As with salt and there are many foods that we eat that contain hidden sugar the average person eats way above the recommended daily allowance.
Do not smoke – smoking is bad for your health and tobacco depletes food in your body so if you stop smoking and if you don’t say from second-hand smoke.
Develop a healthy diet may seem like a difficult task but after a while you get used to it and your body will thank him.
